For years, farm operators have used Tractor Oils Universal (TOU) suitable for multi-purpose, mild extreme pressure farm equipment, engines, and powertrains. These oils contain sufficient zinc dithiophosphate to meet the requirements of these applications. However, newer tractors with oil-immersed brakes demand a new generation of universal tractor oil. Using the incorrect oil type for the multi-disc, wet brake system can lead to ineffective braking, a critical issue, especially when navigating through water.
